Following a car accident in the remote Welsh countryside, Iwan and Sara find themselves submerged in a river, with Sara unconscious. They are rescued by a reclusive man named Stanley, who carries Sara back to his isolated house overlooking the valley. As Sara slowly recovers, the couple begins to question their mysterious host, whose quiet demeanor conceals much about his past.
Life in Stanley’s house unfolds uneasily. He goes about his daily routines — preparing food, fetching water, and digging a well — while keeping a watchful eye on his guests. As the days pass, fragments of Iwan and Sara’s own past begin to surface, hinting that they might be running from something. Despite their uncertainty, Sara starts to feel a strange calm in the isolated home, telling Iwan, “Everything we need is here. We can stop running.”
Tension grows as Stanley develops a quiet fascination with Sara, leading to jealousy and mistrust between the couple.
